  1. Appointments with an experienced and certified dog trainer.
  2. Training solutions for separation anxiety, puppy training, basic obedience, hyperactivity, and more.
  3. A team of office staff, dog training professionals, and a veterinarian working together to develop the best training plan for your pup.

Our virtual training program is based on the Canine Trade Group in-home training program, which has successfully trained dogs for over twenty years. You get the same one-on-one attention, trainer access, and professionalism.

We’re helping dogs across the country.

Meet The Team

John Van Olden – President/CEO – Canine Trade Group

John is a respected member of the canine professional community and the president of Canine Trade Group.  He started the company in 2010 to provide professional development and peer support, as well as administrative, marketing, and back-office support, for an exclusive network of invited professional dog trainers. All CTG trainers are highly successful, independent business owners.

His 30+ years of dog training experience include military K-9 training and founding the first dog training franchise in the country, K-9 Advantage. He became one of the earliest members of the International Association of Canine Professionals, eventually serving on their Board of Directors.

Cristin Ellis – Operations Manager

Cristin is Canine Trade Group’s Operations Manager, and she knows the ins and outs of the office better than anyone. She also knows the ins and outs of canine behavior. In addition to ten years of experience training dogs for agility competitions, she also took it upon herself to learn and practice CTG’s in-home training methods. This helped the most recent addition to her family, a Border Collie named Sike!, ditch the anxiety and fear aggression from which he initially suffered.

Cristin knows the psychology, theory, and science behind CTG’s methods and has seen firsthand how effective they are.
