Professional Dog Training Programs

In-home dog training principles remain at the core of our virtual dog training program. We focus on building your relationship with your dog and treating each dog as an individual with unique needs, motivations, and personalities.

How Professional Dog Training Works

Our professional dog training program uses a balanced training philosophy to resolve canine behavior issues. We aren’t too hard on the dog because that would be unfair. However, we don’t go too easy on the dog because that would also be unfair.

The ultimate goal is to help your dog learn to make the right decisions. We want them to do the right thing by choice. Believe it or not, this goal can be achieved.

It’s best to begin training in a familiar environment, away from distractions. That’s why we believe in-home training, whether it’s in-person or through Virtual Leash, is always the ideal choice.

The first step in dog training is getting to know you via a consultation.

We want to hear about your dog’s behavior, your training goals, and how we can make the new training regimen work for your schedule and lifestyle. Then, the real work (and fun!) begins.

Virtual Dog Training

Our virtual dog training program can help you develop a new and wonderful relationship with your dog. Thanks to an individualized approach to common (and uncommon) canine behavior problems, we’ve helped dog owners just like you alleviate a number of concerns.

These include separation anxiety, hyperactivity, inappropriate greeting behavior, puppy training, basic obedience training, proper leash behavior, house training, chewing, scratching, digging, territorial tendencies, and more.

We can help you, too!

Advantages of Virtual Dog Training

  • The trainer gets to see the big picture.

You don’t have to leave your home for the trainer to give your dog a complete and accurate behavioral evaluation. We can see your dog in its everyday environment with everyday behavioral triggers. This is nearly impossible to achieve in a separate training facility.

  • You’ll benefit from multiple forms of learning.

With virtual dog training, you aren’t just letting a trainer into your home; they’re letting you into theirs. This means the trainer can offer demonstrations and examples using their own dog and various media that may not be available during an in-person training session.

  • You can always “phone a friend.”

The virtual dog training experience begins in your home, and we slowly let your dog out into more unfamiliar and distracting environments so they can practice their new skills. Once your dog is consistently calm in your home, it’s time to take them to the backyard. Once calm in the backyard, it’s time to take them for a walk. We can coach you during outdoor lessons via webcam (Again, isn’t technology great?) so you don’t feel alone while gaining confidence in your ability to set and maintain new boundaries with your dog.

Investment

Our Virtual Leash Training Program begins with a one-hour dog behavior consultation, where our certified trainer, will meet your dog, and you, via a technology such as Zoom or Facetime, listen to your behavior concerns, observe your dog, and then make a specific behavior diagnosis.   She will then explain the best training approach for your dog and your family.

The initial consultation is one hour long, and the cost is $100.00, which, if you decide to commit to Virtual Leash Dog Training, will apply to the cost of our training program.

The Virtual Leash Dog Training Program is 4 30-minute training sessions, and the cost for this is $475.00, to which we apply your initial consultation fee.

If at any time you decide that you would like to do hand’s-on, in-home training with one of our trainers, we will apply $375.00 of the cost of the Virtual Leash Training Program to your in-home dog training fee.
